Did you know that there is a photography lab in the basement of Kane Hall at the University of Washington? Well, there is! We're CSS Photography, and we've actually been down here for three decades. We do everything from studio copy work to black and white custom printing (yes, the old fashioned way) to high-resolution slide and reflective scanning to digital restoration. We provide professional service and pride ourselves on quality work at competitive prices. We offer our services to the UW Community as well as to the General Public.
We'll be posting lots of information on this blog as a supplement to our website: www.washington.edu/classroom/photography/. We're hoping that this blog will be a helpful resource for people to check for technical advice on cameras and Photoshop, calendar of events at UW as well as for workshops and training seminars, upcoming application deadlines for artist opportunities, introductions to programs that UW has to offer that you may not know about like the free STF Equipment check-out offered to students, or access to ordering photos from the Special Collections digital archives, and we'll also post special promotions we'll be offering throughout the year.
