Taiko Suzuki has been a long-time customer here at CSS, and we always enjoy seeing her smiling face and beautiful artwork. Suzuki makes her own paper and creates colorful collages from a combination of printmaking techniques. Her mastery of Japanese and Western-style papermaking and daring use of gold leaf and vibrant paint create pieces that are both technically impressive and visually stunning.
She will be having a show in Tokyo, Japan from November 2nd to November 7th at Ozu Washi, 3-6-2 Nihonbashi-Honcho Chuo-ku Tokyo, 103-8435.
